I made all of these for you...

RESOURCES

A curated collection of tools, frameworks, and reflections for creative professionals in music.

SUMMARY

This page is a curated collection of tools, frameworks, and reflections I’ve created over the years for creative professionals in music.

Some of these began as workshops, blog series, or teaching materials. Others grew directly out of my own need for clarity, sustainability, and better decision-making in a creative life. All of them are offered here freely, with context, so you can use what’s useful and leave the rest.

You don’t need to read or download everything. Start with what meets you where you are.

RESOURCE

Make It Rain — A Creative Career Framework

A high-level framework for creative professionals who want a sustainable, intentional career rather than a constant state of reaction.

  • This framework outlines how I think about goals, offers, visibility, systems, money, and energy — and it underpins both my coaching work and my workshops.

  • In practice, this framework is most powerful when applied to real projects, real constraints, and real lives. Here, you’re seeing the map.

RESOURCE

Overcoming Upper Limit Problems in Your Music Business

A mindset and strategy resource for identifying the invisible ceilings that keep artists stuck — even when things are going “well.” This material explores self-sabotage, fear around success, and the ways creative professionals unconsciously limit growth. It’s especially useful if you find yourself repeating patterns despite effort and skill.

  • Identify patterns of self-sabotage that tend to appear right as things start to go well

  • Examine the beliefs and behaviors that quietly limit growth, visibility, or income

  • Practice reframing fear and resistance into actionable next steps you can work with

All for You

Everything on this page is shared freely.

Some of these resources began as workshops, teaching materials, or long-form writing. Others grew out of questions I kept hearing again and again from creative professionals trying to make thoughtful, sustainable choices. You don’t need to download everything. Take what’s useful, ignore what isn’t, and come back when something new feels relevant.

  • Use these tools on your own, revisit them as needed

  • Notice what feels clear and what stays sticky

  • If you want support applying this work to real decisions, you can learn more about working together elsewhere on the site

RESOURCE

The Self-Directed MBA for Artists

A curated bibliography of books, podcasts, and courses that have shaped how I think about creative work, money, leadership, and sustainability. I couldn't possibly make a completely comprehensive list, but this is a good collection.

This is not a syllabus and not a requirement. It’s a reference list for artists who like to learn independently and want a broader context for the business side of creative life.

RESOURCE

29 Days to Diva

For many years, I wrote 29 Days to Diva as an annual blog series on the Sybaritic Singer designed around micro actions—one simple, doable task each day to help creative professionals build clarity, momentum, and sustainable habits in their careers.

Across hundreds of posts from different years, the series explored practical work (like career audits and recital planning), mindset shifts, goal setting, networking, and strategy exercises that help you take meaningful next steps in your music and creative life.

29 Days to Diva wasn’t meant to be a linear course. It was designed as a creative companion: approachable, actionable, and human-scaled. The series also seeded other projects, including the Studio Class podcast, which extends many of the same themes into conversation and storytelling.

Explore the archive on Sybaritic Singer when you want to revisit a specific prompt, pick up a fresh perspective, or reconnect with the daily creative habit.
